Wish basket for Kaiden Posted on January 28, 2014 by jkaley66 Kaiden is an 18 month old with Alagilles Syndrome which is a genetic disorder that can affect multiple organs including the liver, kidneys and heart. He currently is being closely monitored for kidney failure and liver function and will most likely require a kidney transplant in the near future. He lost his mother to a car accident several months ago and lives with his father in Westland where he receives Early Intervention services to address his developmental delays. He receives all of his medical care at U of M. Kaiden loves music, the movie Brother Bear and playing with balls and cars. The toys we purchased included his own kids cd player with music, a keyboard, touch drum set, balls, stacking toys, wooden puzzles/blocks and an electronic shopping cart to help him work on walking independently.
