Karen Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. I am glad that you were able to write. I believe that the frog was a sign from Leah, the first of many to come. There is a wonderful grief program in Northville called Braveheart. They have programs for the whole family and have programs designed especially for children. I keep Leah and the rest of your family in my prayers daily. May Peace and Comfort surround you.

Karen, Thanks for letting us know how you are. You and your family have been on mind and in my prayers for a long time now and even more since the loss of Leah. I still can't make anymore sense of this now than when I first found out a year ago. I know you can't either. My sister and I were just recently discusing Leah with another friend and found out something. Turns out, my older sister Sue graduated with Phil's brother Herb and I graduated with Marc. It can be a small world sometimes. I wish there was something I could say to make it even a little better. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. While none of us can come close to feeling your pain and loss, know that we do grieve with you and love you and your family. Take care. Mary Campbell

I love Leahs's sign to you with the Green FROG but I think it even goes deeper- FROG- also stands for "Fully Rely On God" She knows you need a shoulder to lean on and I think she is reminding you there is always one there :)

Though I don't know you, I felt compelled to leave you a note to say how beautiful your Leah was and what a special little girl she must have been. I don't know what it is like to lose a child but I did recently lose my husband in a tragic accident and the pain is so great and deep. Our daughter has leukemia and I worry about her though I have hope that she will recover. Reading your story about the frog was incredible. I truly believe it was a sign and it gives me hope to hold on for a sign of my own. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Karen, Thank you for posting and letting us know how you are. I know you are hurting so very badly right now and that was very thoughtful to post, though I understand it was for your benefit as well. The counselor is a great idea and good for you to see the need. How about Kylie, how is she? How is Phil? I hope they are hanging in there. You are going through what I have always believed to be the worst thing a person could go through, losing a child. I believe there is a heaven and a God. I know I am not in your shoes but I truly believe you will see Leah again. I don't understand why God lets little children suffer either but I do believe he is out there. I believe God will give us the strength to go through a situation as it hits us. He will guide you and love you and he loves Leah. I am so sorry for your family.
