I just read your update and feel so devastated for you, Phil and Kylie. I am back to work, Karen, but if you'd ever like to go for a walk in the evening, just to talk, or anything, please call me.
Maybe you'd like to come to the cabin for a week-end with us? I'm sure Kylie and Kelsey would get along great. Think about it.
You are ALL in my thoughts and prayers every day,
Barb

karen,
i have had you in my thoughts this week, as i imagined the challenges faced with going back to work. personally, it seems to be getting harder for me to go out of the house. i want you to know that as you go about your day, you take my thoughts with you.

James family,
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know that we are still here, thinking of you and praying for your family. I check on you daily, but sign the guestbook rarely, as you know it is very hard to find encouraging words for someone when you are also going through the loss of your own child. I do check to see how everyone is doing. Keep BEElieving!
Love and Prayers,
Andrea-Ryan's mommy forever

Karen I don't think anyone here expects that you will heal any time soon or ever. What you have been through is probably the worst tragedy a parent can experience. All you can do is pray that you can somehow learn to go on. I am praying for you every day still and will continue to as long as you need it. I pray that Wednesdays will get better for you. Take care and love to all.

When C.S. Lewis lost his wife, he wrote that "losing a loved one is like having your leg amputated. You don't get over an amputated leg. The would may heal, but the leg will never grow back. You'll always have that absence in your life, and you'll always walk with a limp." I hear you when you say that time does not heal all wounds...no amount of time will change how you feel about losing Leah. I'm praying you through...for a long time to come.
