Karen and Phil - You continue to be in our thoughts and in our prayers. The pain will always be there, but in time, it will not be the agony that it is now. It won't be the raw, intense feelings of anguish that are crushing you at this moment. God will carry you through to a place of healing. You will get through this, even though you can't possibly imagine right now how you will. We will keep lifting you up in prayer. One thing I will offer that may be of comfort right now - When we lost Jonathan, my favorite prayer became, "Jesus, please kiss Jonathan and hug him and let him know that right now, I'm missing him so much. Jesus, please tell Jonathan that I love him." It brought me comfort to know that even though I couldn't hold my baby at that moment, the Lord could and would give him my love. It was the closest I could get to him. And I know that Jesus has enough hugs and kisses for all the children who are playing in His garden. May the Lord comfort and strengthen you today.
