Hello Karen, Please know that you are in my thoughts all of the time. I have tried to write a letter to you so often but the words just do not come. Perhaps it is because your loss is just that, "unspeakable". I love to look at Leah's picture on her website and remember the huge hug I received from her during our brief meeting at your home when we delivered her the gamecube. I always think of her during these warm sunny days when there is not a cloud in the sky. She seems like she might be so close by. I hope that one day your unimaginable pain will be lessened by your beautiful memories of Leah and the knowledge that she is looking over you until you see her again. Hi Karen, I think of you often. I never thought I would miss one of Rachel's friends from Daycare so much. I really thought when Rachel went onto Kindergarten, they would go to the back of my mind, but Leah never did. After she became an angel, everything around me, reminded me of Leah & what you guys were going through, from booster seats to other everyday things & can only imagine a smidgen of your grief. Hi sweetie, I just finished reading the article!<BR> Amazing! Karen, my brother is a firefighter/paramedic..( Lombard, Ill)<BR> and my brother in law is also a firefighter ( Carol Stream, Ill).<BR> I have printed the article for them to post in their firehouses.<BR> I am also forwarding this on to my sister, Mary, who is a chaplain for the Illinois State Police...<BR>she also was at ground zero and assisted the rescue squads "in the pit" when bodies were retrieved.<BR> Many of them New York firefighters, "brothers" to the men who so gently and respectfully carried their "brothers" out.<BR> As a result, Mary became very close to the NY Firemen.<BR> I am forwarding this off to her so that she may also share this article with all of them.<BR> For those reading this, please understand, this is an HONOR which is ONLY bestowed upon fellow brothers/HERO'S...<BR>Leah was considered "one of them"...<BR> I am moved to tears!<BR> How beautiful!
