Dear James Family, Since I found out about Leah's tumor through a friend at St Mary's where I worked for 3 years, I think about her and all of you all the time. Leah you are an inspiration to me, I have been sick a lot in the past (a different kind of sick though) and the only thing that gets me through is knowing there is a wonderfully sweet girl out there named Leah and her family who is fighting and praying every day so I will too. I love all kids all ages soooo much, I would love to help in any way I could, I just feel so close to all of you even though Ive never met you. Please let me know if I can help in anyway even if its just giving a BIG Hug, Im good at that :)Im no professional, no rich person but my love for kids is like no other, unfortunately my husband and I can not have kids so I cherish those around me. Karen I am so glad you decided to get hospice involved. Hospice is not about giving up hope, it is about pain and symptom managment and support for Leah and the rest of the family. I continue to pray for a miracle. I am glad you had "good family time" on your trip. Please know that there are many who have never met Leah and we are praying for her everyday.
