Karen, I am so sad right along with you. I did not know about Sam Walsdorf, I had not checked his site yet today. A little more of your heart breaks away when you follow along with a family and then they have the same tragic ending that we all do. It is so unfair that our special children are taken away and not allowed to live, like other children. Know that your life, my life and so many other parents have truly been blessed by our Angels. I have not truly come to terms with what I just wrote, but I am trying. There is too much anger and sadness right now. But I do know that there is a commonaility amongst all of our children ... they are "different." Not just "good" but unique and special. I check on you often and will again soon. Take care. Hey Phil, Karen, and Kylie It's been a while since I've written on the website. Leah's service at St. Mary's Chapel was very emotional for me. I love and miss Leah very much. She has changed my life forever and now more than ever, I find myself looking to find my faith. I have to believe there is a God and that Leah was sent here by God to teach us all about what life should be like. Leah was so beautiful and alive. She made us happy just to be around her. I am still amazed at how strong and vibrant she was when she was getting closer to earning her angel wings. Leah managed to keep her humor and found a way to comfort us through her laughter. Leah, you are in my heart always and I am hoping you will help to guide me toward a more spiritual life.
