What I always remember when I think of Leah was the beautiful smile that she always had. She had such an amazing outlook on life. One time that I remember was when you brought Leah and Kylie into work and they sat in on a section meeting. I kept watching the girls and the smile that was always on Leah face. She was coloring and drawing and showing them to Kylie. She really enjoyed her big sister!! I will always remember her smile and know that she is smiling down on you all right now and always.

Although, I never had a chance to get to know Leah, I remember seeing her in the child care center, always with a smile on her face. I read your website every chance I get, and a few months ago, I was reading an entry you wrote, with my daughter Isabella on my lap, who was 14 months old at the time. When I pulled up the website and she saw the picture of Leah, she pointed at the screen and said "Happy" That was the first time she ever said a word other than Ma Ma and Da Da. I truly belive that Your Angel from above was letting an Angel on Earth know that she was "Happy"

Karen, Phil and Kylie, Karen, I wanted to give you a hug when I you trick or treating with kylie, but skippy was going crazy with all of the kids. Which brings me to a special memory of Leah. She really loved skippy and skippy was very fond of her. Skippy usually gets very excited around kids but when he saw Leah he appeared very calm and loved to have her pet him. Take care--you are always in our thoughts and prayers. We remembered her especially on all saints and all souls day!

Karen, I am thinking of you today (with tears rolling down my face)and wanted you to know I think of you, Phil, Kylie and Leah every single day - and even more so on Wednesdays. I never had the opportunity to "officially" meet Leah, but each and every time I see her picture (either on the website or in my mind) I have a feeling of warmth that comes over me. I mentioned this to you before, but I remember it like it was yesterday - you had just returned from work after having Leah and I was sitting with you at your desk as you showed me her beautiful baby pictures. I remember the picture clearly and remember saying that she was so 'angelic'-her porcelien skin and I remember those cheeks! :) What a perfect description for her! You were so proud of her and Kylie. I have to say, many times when I picture Leah, I recall one from the slideshow-the one of her holding her foot and looking between her toes :) Picture of pure innocense and it brings a smile to my face every time! I can't tell you how many times throughout my day that my mind is thinking of Leah and all of you...every time my kids are watching America's Funniest Home Videos I think of Leah. I thought of you all day on Halloween and I thought of Leah with every cheerleader that came to my door. I prayed that Leah was watching over you and letting you smile and enjoy the moments with Kylie. I pray for your family and all the other families that are living this horrible tragedy. Please know that I am thinking of you daily. If you need anything at all...I am here with an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.

I remember meeting Leah at the end of last year and she was going to be in my daughters kindergarten class. We introduced her to my daughter and they both were very shy. But they both smiled a shy smile and said hello. I also remember when she would come to chapel and sing and dance and run around she was so cute and spunky!! You were blessed! We pray for your family for strength daily and that you can have enough strength to make it through the day. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers especially on Wed's. Take care and God Bless your family.

Hi Karen,Kylie and Phil.. We have not forgot about you, and still think about Leah everyday..I know it was a hard day for you on Halloween!! We miss Leah and Tyler so much, and your right it does not get easier. I also watch dvd's of Tyler on his Make-A-wish trip with us, just to hear his voice, and hear his laugh also, and also end up bawling my eyes out.It is so unfair, and we want them back soooo bad!!! You are all in our thoughts and prayers all the time, and we will never forget you or precious Leah!!! Take care and God Bless!! Karen
