Dear James Family, We've just read about your incredible daughter in the Plymouth Observer. Words can not express our sadness of hearing about her condition. We have two sons and had a few medical problems as well, though not to the degree as Leah's. Ours have turned out fine with many prayers, and we wanted to let you know that we will add Leah to our prayers in hopes of helping you and your family. May God bless you and take care of you.
Peace, The Yankee Family

Hi Leah and Family --
The picture on your website is amazing. It is almost like the dress was designed to match Leah's eyes. We keep you in our daily thoughts and prayers. There is no one tougher than these little warriors. Karen, you and your husband are doing an incredible job. The Lord is watching over all of you!

Dear Leah,
An Irish Blessing for you -
May you always have...
A sunbeam to warm you,
Good luck to charm you,
And a sheltering angel
so nothing can harm you.
Faithful friends near you,
And whenever you pray...
Heaven to hear you.

Hey Ya'll-
Five people at school asked about Leah today. That is strange. I am used to giving people updates, but to have five people ask about her made me feel like I was being watched. And ofcourse I was. Ha.
It continues to amaze me how Leah's life has touched so many others. She is an inspiration to us all. She is the reason that we should all continue to count our blessings, let the little things go, don' sweat the small stuff, and all the other cliches that never seem to have meaning until they suddenly hit home.
Leah, thanks for looking out for us...even when you are not trying.
Love, Uncle Herb

Hi Karen, Sorry I missed you when I stopped by Saturday. It was nice to see Phil and especially Leah. She was outside playing in her winter gear and having fun. She is so cute and lucky to have such wonderful parents like you two are. You are doing a great job. Pam

Hi Karen
My heart is breaking with yours. I feel so bad that there is so little that we can do for you guys. Steve and I went to Portugal and Fatima in September 2003. We went to the actual site and we have holy water from there that we use when someone needs or wants some. I can bring you some to use for a special prayer time. I will drop it off this weekend when I am in town. xxoo we love you all Pam
