Dear Karen, I can relate to so much of what you wrote in your entry. I also can appreciate your list of things not to say. So many of those comments were identical to what we heard. Your right.. there is NOTHING worse then to lose a child. Have you heard of Compassionate friends? I haven't attended any meetings yet but heard it is a wonderful support group. Hi Karen and family. Just want to say hello and let you know I think of you often. Usually it is with a deep sigh as I check in here and think of how hard it is for you to get up again to another day without your Leah. Just remember it is another day closer to being with her again too I guess huh? Our time on earth here is really short and the length of eternity will be much longer so let's look forward to that. Meanwhile you and we have things to do while God has us sitting here on the planet so I guess we better do what we are here for until He is ready for us up there. I hope you remember that we will see our dear loved ones again, joyful and happy and healthy. I can't wait either but we must. Be patient and enjoy your hubby and Kylie and play on earth for awhile. Leah remains on my mind and in my heart each day. I know that your heart is broken, and that is something time will never heal. I only hope that the prayers I say for all of you each day will be heard - they are prayers for peace in your heart and strength in your soul, to carry you through the days - one moment at a time. I will continue saying prayers for you, for Phil, for Kylie and for all the other families that have an angel looking over them.
