Hi Karen, Phil and Kylie, I think of you often and just pray for all of you. I also have 2 daughters and can't begin to imagine your great loss. Be grateful for the years you had her here on earth and knowing she is so happy and loved even though she is away right now. All of you have your own special angel watching over you, so proud of you and everything you do. She's that bright star glowing down to you from heaven above. You will make new memories but cherish the old ones and love one another each day as if it is your last!! I will continue you to pray for all of you and I wear the heart necklace from Genitti's auction as a reminder of your special angel. Karen, Phil & Kylie, I can't even imagine your grief. I wish there was something I could do. Above all else I wish none of our kids ever had to get this tumor. Justis too is afraid to go to heaven he cried one day telling me"I dont want to be an angel", so like you we talk about when he grows up & becomes that pilot. I have you all in my heart and prayers every single day. I feel a love for your family that is hard to explain considering we have never really met. Hi Karen, Phil, Kylie: How could i forget the times i went with you and Leah to Ann Arbor for her doctors' appointments. The first time stands out so vividly.Leah and I were in the waiting room for quite awhile, and boy was she delightful and ever so patient. We read books together, and she knew places on the map before i had a chance to look for them,,smart lil angel she was!And i remember when the doctor had her lay down so he could massage her head, she fell asleep so quickly.I can still see her laying there so peacefully. And how she got into the game of hiding from you outside as we waited for you to finish up with the doctor and nurse at the front desk. She squealed with delight when i said "Hurry and hide Leah, mommys coming out now!Thanks so much Karen for asking me to share those days with Leah. It will be a cherished memory forever! Hi Karen, I wanted to tell you of happy moments to remember. I remember Rachel learning to spell Leah before her own name because every day when I picked her up, they would be sitting together writing her name. And then everything at our house was Leah this & Leah that! Those were very happy times. Rachel & all of us miss her very much!

Karen, I just read your entry today and it makes me so sad. It must seem so surreal for you as we all go about our lives and talk about Christmas and things, when your lives have been turned upside down. I miss Leah so much and I didnt even get to see her very often. Her presence is missed so much. I did want to write about some of my favorite memories of beautiful Leah. I mentioned to you before about her at Janina's birthday party walking around with a big toy shot gun. It was the funniest sight to see this petite, beautiful little girl having so much fun with a huge toy gun. We were calling her Annie Oakley and she loved it. We figured that was the grandpa James coming out in her! Also, the day Marc, Herb and I were stripping wallpaper in her room. I remember her working so hard for hours with her tiny little fingers picking off bits of wallpaper little by little. I kept telling her she could take a break, but she wouldn't and just kept on picking. Afterwards, she was showing me one of her books with funny pictures of kids and she was giggling so much. I will never forget her precious giggles. I am so glad I spent the day there because I was able to talk to Leah so much. I miss that and I will never forget it either. Missing our Beautiful Angel Leah so much and cherishing all of her memories. Kelly
