Hi Leah, Hang in there honey. We are all praying for you and your family every day. You are so brave. Your smile is lighting so many people's hearts. Congradulations on your graduation from pre-school! Karen, Phil and Kylie, I am praying for you as well. My heart goes out to all of you. Dear James Family, You are such a beautiful family in so many ways. Meeting all of you knowing what you're all facing was not easy. I left your home feeling inspired by each of you. Your family is strong, faithful, and loving. Leah is in the very best possible environment to face her battle. I have learned so much from your family and so have so many others. We have learned that we must have faith in God's plan for us. We have learned that it is possible to be strong even when we want to melt into a puddle. Karen, I am here at work, it is 5:45 am and all I can think of is how you are feeling. All I can say is that I am a mother too, and how to get through this is unknown to me. I often wish that I could just take that tumor out of Leah so she can stay with you forever. I am sure that you wish this every minute of everyday. At this time you feel you will never get through this and I would feel the same way. To be strong is to be a mother and to be a mother is to be a friend.
