Karen, thank you so much for your kind and loving words for our son, Trenton...I pray for Phil, Kylie, and you daily. I do not want to lose Trent - it all seems so unreal to me right now... I can understand your pain and grief-I cry for Leah, too. She is a beautiful angel!! God Bless, Donna

Just stopping by to let you know that I am thinking about your family. I listened to the song written for Leah.. it is absolutely beautiful.
I also cry each and every day after our Ryan passed. I pray that our pain (as well as yours) lessens over time.. that we can look back at some point and have joy when thinking of our children and not heartache from our loss.
God Bless,

I read this entry in a Caring Bridge member's guestbook. I hope they don't mind, but I thought it was worth sharing..."To those of you who may be reading this entry, who visit the web sites of Caring Bridge members, please take the time to say a kind word. If you are like me, you have no idea what these folks are facing. The pain felt by many of us is but
a spec of sand on the beach of their lives. But, we NEED to let each and every one know that we are thinking about them and that we appreciate them sharing their lives with us. It is through that compassion and connection that I believe we can help ease a small part of their pain. If there is one
thing I hear over and over, it is this-we WANT to hear our child's name. We want you to talk about them. Don't be afraid of saying the wrong thing. I remember a proverb
that went something like this -'Better the wrong words of
compassion than the silence of ignorance'."
I keep thinking about the words "The pain felt by many of us is but a spec of sand on the beach of their lives." How true that is. None of us have any idea of the magnitude nor the depth of pain you are feeling. We cannot take that pain away, but we can continue to speak Leah's name and be here for you, for Phil and for Kylie. I continue to pray for peace in your heart and strength in your soul...for all of you.
