Karen, Phil, Leah, and Kylie: I am a teacher at St. Mary's Child Care Center, and am in room 3. I wanted to let you know that I am praying for a miracle for Leah. She is a beautiful little girl. I have a two-year-old daughter who also attends the center, and is in room six. I thank God for her every day. Thank you for reminding us to cherish our children, as they truly are a gift from God. Please know that all of us at St. Mary's Child Cae Center are there for you, rooting for Leah and praying for a miracle. You are wonderful parents, and are to be highly commended for doing everything possible for Leah. God will bless youall in His own special way.

To all, I have been watching Leah's site since it first started and have also tried to sign the guess book several times, but always end up crying over the thought of what Leah is having to go though. I think about you Karen, Phil & Kylie as the three of you are having to travel the same past as Leah in order to help her. As a mother I pray daily that I will never have to make all the decisions and choices that you having to make. I pray even more for that much needed miracle for Leah and that she and all you have the courage to make it though this extremely difficult time. Family time is always the best times of your life so treasure every moment of each day together. May God bless all of you as you continue down this path and know that all your family and friends are praying with you.

I have never felt so angry and sad and useless. All I have are prayers. For a man of words, I find myself often speechless. I am reading books I have read before that are suppose to answer why bad things happen to good people. "Letters From A Sceptic" is one I was going to recommend to Phil and Karen, but I know they are too busy to dwell on "Why?". They just want a miracle--we all do. My prayers are for ALL of the family. Thank you dear friends of the family who have offered peace and counceling and diversions. Friendship is the best gift of all. God Bless You Little Leah. I love you always....

Having to make a similar decision for our child (where we selected not to do chemo), it is a decision that only parents can make. You don't want to put your child through more pain and suffering when it will not yield any results. We continue to keep you in our prayers. Happy Birthday to Kylie!
