I happened to have this link saved in my favorites folder at work and though I didn't intend to click on it (I actually meant to check my gmail account), as with everything in life, it appears there was a reason why I am now here. So after reading a few heart-wrenching entries and then realizing I couldn't begin to fathom what your lives must be like, I thought I would simply share an Irish poem with this being Holy Week. It put a smile on my face a few years back when someone I loved very much died all too suddenly. I hope, even if only for a few brief moments, it can do the same for all of you. To the James family, I wish you a blessed Easter. ********************************* Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free! I followed the plan God laid for me. I saw His face, I heard His call, I took His hand and left that's all... I could not stay another day, To love, to laugh, to work or play; And if my parting has left a void, Please fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss... Ah yes, these things, I too shall miss. My life was full, I savored much: Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief— Don't shorten yours with undue grief. Be not burdened with tears of sorrow, I pray you enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
