Hello family, I've wrote you guys a few times now. Just wanted to say I'm praying for you all everyday. I pray that you will find peace in your hearts and know that leah is still with you as you take each day one step at a time. You are 100% right when you say "there is no better place for Leah then in her mommy and daddy's arm's." Hi Karen, My son was in the hospital this weekend and he was sitting on my lap looking out his window and up at the sky. He said, "Mom, I see an angel looking at us. I think it's angel Leah. She's really pretty and has feathery white wings." Then he said laughing "and there's a duck up there with her too...no, actually it's a frog." I couldn't believe my ears! I had chills and said "REALLY?". And he said "Yes! She's telling him if she kisses him he'll turn into a prince." I smiled and just gave him a huge hug. Than we looked up again and I said "Hi sweet Leah!"

Karen, Hello to all. I think of you everyday and miss you even more. I talk of Leah often just to let people know how special she was. I almost hate to say "was" when she really is more special now than before. To be an angel of heavan and to be her happy self, now that is special. Hope that your little angel is singing praises to you. I will hope for some signs of Leah to come to you. I told my grandma the story of Leah(she lost her oldest son at 10)and I told her that you were really looking for the sign that she was Okay. She looked at me and said well ofcourse she is in heavan she would be one of the first to sit by Gods side. She said that you have to feel it in your heart and then you can live it in your life. Hi Karen, Phil, Kylie and Leah always, I just want you to know that we continue to pray for you and think about each of you every single day. We miss your beautiful Leah so much. Kaitlyn put her special bathing suit on the other day that Leah gave her for her birthday. It was raining outside and a bit chilly, but she said she was thinking about Leah and she wanted to wear it. I know your pain is beyond anything I've ever felt, but I want you to know what a huge impact Leah had and continues to have on our family. I can picture her in Heaven today wearing her beautiful dress with the "5" on it that you bought her for her birthday. She is waving her magic wand in hopes of bringing you a big smile today. My wife and I were watching the coverage of Hurricane Katrina and we both said allowed, "how can they take walking through all of that nasty, mucky, sewage-contaminated, bacteria-infested water?" Sitting close by was our 9 year old daughter that was also intensly watching the coverage and looked at us both in a don't-you-get-it? sort of way and said simply and directly, "they don't have any choice." I thought how profound that out of the mouth of babes comes such unabashed wisdom. In other words, they don't want to be in this situation they are in but if they want to live they have no other option right now, we were both a bit embarassed not seeing it from this very bottom line view. I think of this often as my family and I pray for all of you as you wade through the waters you are battling right now.
