Hi Karen. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. Earlier today I was talking to my sister who lives out of state. After a long discussion, she mentioned that she has Leah's picture on her fridge(she only knows of Leah through me and your words here on her website). When I questioned why, she said it grounds her ~ when things are rough, she looks to Leah and realizes that she can continue. Leah's picture is on my fridge too. I believe that Leah was sent here with a very special purpose and that purpose continues on. The good in her is now a part of all of us. From Michigan to Pennsylvania...Leah lives on in our thoughts, words, and actions.

Hi Karen, I loved your story about the "Who You'd Be Today" song. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago when my dad passed away from lung cancer. I was missing hiim alot one day and ask him to give me a sign that he was ok, so I would feel that he wasn't so alone. Wouldn't you know when I turned the car radio on, the song that playing was Michael Jackson's "You are not alone" Just the other night I thought I heard you cry Asking me to come And hold you in my arms I can hear your prayers Your burdens I will bear But first I need your hand Then forever can begin "Everyday I sit and ask myself How did love slip away Something whispers in my ear and says That you are not alone For I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay." My dad was taken from us very quickly and I didn't get a chance to tell him how much I loved him or even good bye. It is weird every now and then I swear I see him sometime. I know you must tired of me saying this but I am grateful for all you do for us parents whose child is going through this disease. Without your constant updates, it would be a much tougher journey, and I'm glad we don't have to do it alone. Thanks for everything, and may God Bless you and your family.

Hi Sweetie, I just read your latest post. Signs? YUP! Did I ever share with you about ALL the precious little white feathers I am sent by Christopher. I have a large collection. They are NOT usual feathers. They are always the same. Very, very tiny white fluffy feathers. No bigger than the nail on my baby finger. And I only receive them when I am in despair, or when I am "demanding" an sign ( I quit "asking" politely long ago :) In the dead of winter, Cherie and I were in the car and talking and from out of nowhere on floted down right in front of her and she caught it. We both just looked at each other and at the same time said "Christopher". I get my "frogs" from little Leah. My feathers from Christopher. It keeps me going.

I came across your website while trying to research information for friends. When Leah's picture appeared, I instantly had tears in my eyes. What a precious, beautiful girl. Light just shines in her eyes, and must be one of the stars we see at night. My friend's 6 y.o. daughter was just diagnosed with a DIPG this month. She began treatment last week. We are praying the same desperate prayers your friends and family were praying for Leah. I will add you in mine. God Bless.
