Hi Karen and Phil. I just want to say hello and that you are on my mind today and often. I am praying for your strength to get up and live today. Hang on to each other and walk one step at a time. Do not feel guilty if you have a little smile or actually laugh about something. It is not bad or wrong for you to laugh or have a moment of joy. Leah is okay. She is okay. You guys need to be okay for the time you are on this earth, while we all wait to get there with all of them in heaven too. Hi Karen, Phil, Kylie and Leah forever, We just want you to know how much we have been thinking about all of you. These holidays must be so hard. We can't even imagine how painful your days are. On Christmas Eve, Doug and I spent quite a while talking about you guys. Doug had been playing with Kaitlyn and he told me that the whole time he was with her, he was thinking about Phil and how terrible this must be for all of you. As a dad he was relating to the special relationship that Phil and Leah shared. As a mom, I know that this has to be the hardest thing you've ever experienced Karen. Please know that we think about you constantly, we talk about Leah all the time, and we pray that you are able to somehow get through this with some smiles on your faces. Leah is smiling every second. She is playing. She is happy. She is waiting for you...
