Karen, I have been thinking of you all day. This whole thing is just so wrong. I hope that this doctor in ann arbor hurries to help her. Karen and Phil: Gosh- this one was a tough one to read- I feel for you both. I obviously cannot imagine how you are getting through this. I have always wanted to sign the guestbook to let you know I am praying for all of you- sorry that i do not really know what to say. But you are all in my thoughts. Karen- keep being strong! Hi sweethearts. Just a note to tell you that you're all the first thing I think of when I awake in the morning and the last before I go to sleep, and much of in between. I so enjoyed being at Leah's graduation and am so proud to be her grandma. We are all so blessed to have her in our lives. My prayers continue for your strength during this difficult time. I also enjoyed babysitting her on Wednesday and look forward to more of that. Remember Karen, anytime you need to be somewhere where you can't take her along, I'm available. Karen, My prayers continue to be with you and your family. I stopped by your office a couple of weeks ago (6/2) after a meeting at FMCC (missed you agan, darnit!) and saw Leah's beautiful face seemingly greeting me in your absence. I entered your office and took the liberty of holding her picture to my chest and saying a prayer, feeling that Leah and I were praying together. During my drive home, I continued to pray for your strength to continue fighting a good fight. I pray, and believe, that you will win with the power of prayer punching away at this disease 'demon'.
