Ooops, Karen!
The last prayer I sent in this Leah's guestbook, needs to read, "God saw you getting tired"
(Not -- "God say you getting tired".)

Here's another great prayer. Hope it helps as well.
God say you getting tired
when a cure was not to be.
So He closed His arms
around you and whispered,
"Come to Me."
You didn't deserve what
you went through,
so He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping
so peaceful and
free from pain,
we could not wish you back
to suffer that again.
(Hope this prayer continues to give you comfort to you and your enitire family.)

When my Mom passed away 2 years ago, one of my friends sent me this prayer, which has helped. I hope it gives you comfort.
Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth --
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
(Karen, I believe that this poem was written for you and Leah, because of your very strong will to try to find a cure, and for Leah's years on earth which showed us how to love and be kind.)

I just wanted to let you know that I visited Leah's website. Your family is beautiful and radiates so much love.
I got Leah's website from DayByDay. I am so sorry that you have a reason to belong to such a group, but I hope and think that you will get much support from this group of very understanding people.
I, too, have a child who died from a brain tumor. Connell had an anaplastic astrocytoma, which was diagnosed when he was 26 months young ~ he was treated for 6 months, until he earned his angel wings on March 20, 2001. I wish I could tell you gets "better" but it doesn't ~ I guess I would say it gets different, but never better.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, as you begin this journey.
Sincerely,
Ann Marie Anastasi
