Karen, Good saturday morning to you. I see that I am following right behind you this morning checking on the children. I signed matthews guest book just after you. My heart is saddened this day because of trent and timmy and now I worry for matthews MRI. I seem to spend so much time searching for the child who is cured, and yet children keep passing away and it seems to take the hope with it. I will alway look Karen, Leah has changed my life forever. Phil, Karen, Kylie- Every morning and every evening you are included in our family prayers. Nathan and Sammie always end their list of people they are praying for by saying: '....and angel Leah watch over all of us." Life has gone on and we are all caught up in all our busy lives, but you remain in our hearts and souls always. Leah's picture is on my filing cabinet right next to my desk...all smiles and wisdom and light and grace. When I have things on my mind or challenges in my day I am often drawn to it. I can not imagine what you are going through, please know that you and your family are in my daily prayers. I not only pray for the children and familes who are going through this ordeal, but also for the families of those who have lost a child. I pray that no other child and their family will have to go through any illness. Children are so precious, they are our future, they don't deserve any of this. Thanks for everything you do, please know that it really makes a difference (more than I could ever say in words).

Karen, Just want you to know you are always on my mind and in my prayers..I was reading your entry this week and noticed something that is so true that we never think about...'The things and people in our live's are a loan from God'..I have to stop myself and think what would we do without our lord.? Hi Karen, Phil and Kylie. It's been awhile since we talked or emailed, but please know that it doesn't mean I haven't been thinking of you. You are always on my prayer list and I talk to Leah all the time and ask her to bring you some sign of her peace in heaven. Your latest journal entry really hit home .. about the Easter season and spring time. I can understand how you must feel from the way you explained it. It doesn't matter how busy you are with the new non-profit org (congrats! by the way... so proud of you,) and the house hunting and selling... busy at work...the pain is still there every day and that is what I pray for the most. My entire family is still with you in thoughts and prayers. Please call me anytime you want to talk to just go out. I really enjoyed our lunch and massage a few months ago.
