I just read about Ryan Browns passing today in our local paper, and went to his website and found Leah's name. My employees and I at Ft. Campbell, Ky. want you to know that Leah is in our prayers and thoughts, and always remember that God preforms miracles every day.

Hi, I just wanted to write and say that I really enjoyed the time in Chicago with you. I'm glad that by helping you guys out I was able to spend some quality time with the girls. It was so hard to fall asleep Sunday without them. I have some great memories from the trip that I will treasure always. I look forward to seeing the girls next weekend when I'm back in town. Lots of love, Brooke

I read about Leah on Melody's site. I am so sorry your little girl is battling this tumor. My daughter Katherine had the same tumor. She earned her angel wings last July. You are right about how awful it is to watch your children lose their abilities each day but keep their cognitive abilities. It is exciting Leah may be able to participate in an immunotherapy trial. These types of trials sound very promising to me. I will pray for Leah's complete recovery. Love, Diana

Leah's slideshow is precious. My heart is so sad for what your family is experiencing. The Tatom family had a wonderful celebration of Claire Tatom's life and our hearts still break but God used her in a mighty way and is still using her. I continue to keep Leah in my prayers.

I love every last bit of your journal, it all holds so true. People don't do enough for brain tumors, it is not researched much and hardly any governmental funding goes towards the research. Just a few days ago, my mother posted a journal that stated that a celebrity had not had to go through this ordeal yet, so it is not going to be recognized until someone takes a stand. When I get up to feeling like doing things again, I am going to start taking a stronger stand. I concentrated so hard on Ryan when he was alive, pretty well just making his life happy more than anything else, well now I am going to take a stand and tell people what kind of things are out there. Let people know what these children and families go through on a daily basis and there is no research funding for it. As far as the elderly going through this, you are so right. It is much harder to watch your child go through these horrific things than an adult, because as horrible as it sounds they are an adult, and have lived life a little bit more than our 5 year olds did. My favorites are always I know exactly what you are going through and they don't even have children. No you don't, no one has a clue how you are feeling, not a soul this earth. People understand more than others but no one knows, but there is help, and if you do need someone to talk with I am more than happy to talk with you about anything, even if it is just to yell and vent. I get so mad and just want to scream, not at anyone inparticular just at the situation. But, I have babbled on enough for right now. I will check in on you again soon. I will be praying for you and thinking of you sweet little girl.
