Karen, Thanks for the update and the thoughtful message left on Sydney's website. I think it was a great idea for you to get out of your normal surroundings for Christmas. Karen, Well, you made it through christmas. There may have been days that you thought you wouldn't but you did and you did it for Leah and Kylie. Leah saw you through it just like I knew she would. I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE WEB SITE AND REMEMBERED SOMETHING SWEET LEAH SAID TO ME ON THE NIGHT OF THE GENETTI'S FUND RAISER WHEN I BABY-SAT. SHE TOLD ME SHE FELT BAD FOR BATMAN AND RUBY AND ALL THE OTHER DOGS AND CATS BECAUSE THEY DID'NT HAVE A MOMMY OR DADDY,I TOLD HER THAT IT'S OK BECAUSE PEOPLE BECOME THE MOMMY OR DADDY TO THEIR PETS WHICH INSTANTALLY MADE HER SMILE AND THEN RESPOND"WELL THAT'S GOOD,BECAUSE MOMMIES AND DADDIES ARE VERY IMPORTANT" AND EVEN THOUGH I ONLY GOT TO MEET HER ONCE,JUST THAT LITTLE CONVERSATION ABOUT CATS AND DOGS SHOWED ME WHAT A SWEET AND CARING LITTLE GIRL SHE WAS.
