Karen and Phil, I have been where you are and I know too well the challenges you face. It breaks my heart to see all the children whose lives have been forever changed by these tumours. Your little angel is so beautiful, reminds me of my Erika. Keep doing what you are doing....love her, spend all your time with her and continue to research new treatments. If they don't adversely affect her and they buy her time, then you are on the right track. Fight with your life, you never get this time back. Karen, I was wondering what you found out about POLY MVA in Nevada. When I talked to Daniels mom his arm and leg also were a problem. Since the poly he has no more problems and that was 3 years ago. Hi Karen and family, I've thought about you since meeting on Sunday at Allie's Angel's Day of Beauty...what a sweetheart little Leah is and she shines with God's love and goodness. I have been offering prayers as are others I've talked to. Continue to trust in Jesus. He is with you always. I have really learned to rely on Him and this promise. Sometimes it feels like all we have to hold onto during tough days and nights. I have been given a name of a doctor who is funded by the NCI for his work in the field of nutrition and its effect on cancer patients. My friend, who I met during my radiation therapy sessions, is fighting Stage 4 Ovarian cancer and has been under his care since the medical community left her no further options.
