Karen, I'm glad to see that you were up to writing. Little baby steps...small steps at a time. Let others hold you up when you feel like falling, and remember, tears are a good thing. One of my favorite sayings ( don't ask me who said it) is this...The colors of the rainbow become more brilliant and beautiful through our tears. It can mean so many things. You will see signs...most times when you are not looking for them. Karen and Phil, I wrote a few days ago, but I guess it didn't register, so I'm going to try again. Having been through this myself and knowing so many families that are living with this, doesn't make the words flow any easier. Dear Phil, Karen, Kylie- I just read the update and am choked up. Seeing you guys yesterday, (especially Phil} and knowing that he was hurting so bad and not knowing how to console him is so difficult. Every thing is a constant reminder for me let alone you guys--pictures, songs, art work, clothes, news stories,back to school ads, kids playing, favorite colors and toys and games,cancer stories,kid bookds, angels and miracles and signs, etc. It must be your own personal hell, not shared with anyone because no one can who has not been through it will ever be able to relate. Death has so many details. It has never really occured to me until now. It is not just Leah's death, it is the trauma of before and during as well as after. You guys were so caught up in IT, never losing focus of the reality but also not losing hope. It is going to be a long road getting over this pain. It is not just the loss but all the hurt of before the loss that you really didn't have time to feel. I say it like I understand but not really. I think to fully understand this, you have to feel it. You guys are my heroes. Like Karen says: "There is nothing that will phase us after this...this is the worse." We love you guys. We are here ALWAYS. God Bless, herb and Kris

Dear Jones Family, May God Bless you and comfort you with His immense Love & Compassion during this most difficult time. Please accept my most sincere sympathies for your recent loss. Leah's story was so beautiful, and yet, so hard to accept the reality of the so called monster. I stumbled upon her "journey" while searching the net for the named tumor my 5 year old niece has. Her mommy & daddy are hoping for the same miracle. She went to Lourdes France in June. No miracle yet. Leah's story has touched my heart as if I were one of her own relatives. Her pictures are so beautiful, and full of life. She will grace your lives forever. God Bless you all, and May God be with Leah.
