Thinking about you and praying for you as the trudge through Christmas without Leah. We sang a song at church on Sunday, the first words were...."Draw me close to you, never let me go". In the midst of your hurt, your anger, your confusion and despair, I'm praying that you will feel God’s presence in a way that you'll recognize and you'll be comforted. I know your journey through grief will be long and hard, so I'll pray that even if it's only for a few seconds, at your darkest moments, you will feel God draw you close....and we know He'll never let you go. I'm praying you through.....

Karen, my name is kyler erickson im 12 years old and my dad is one of nancys good friends. Leahs life has inspired mine and she is and always will be in my prayers. I play select basketball here in omaha, nebraska and on my shoes they say "4 leah" This past weekend we won the championship in our league. I believe it is beacuse of leah that we won that game. I want you to know that your daughter is an amazing girl and she is happier than ever in heaven. You dont know me, i dont know you but i just wanted to let you know your family is unbelievable.
