Hi Karen, it's Nikki from Sole Sisters in downtown Northville. It's been a while since we met but I just wanted to let you know that everyone at the store has Leah in our thoughts and prayers. Bring her in anytime and you know we will treat her like a princess! I'll be reading more often for updates on your daughters condition. I hope she gets a chance to meet Constantine at the show! ;) I think you're unbelievably strong for putting all your thoughts down for us to read. Reading your entry brings back memories. I must have read your entry 15 times. Everytime I go to write, I feel that I am being pushy. Rachel did have urinating issues even before diagnosis. She would go to bathroom at school 10 times in 2 1/2 hours. I even took her to doctors over it. Then during her illness she a hard time. I did not want her to be catherized either. She never needed to be catherized. She would be upset because she has to pee and it wouldn't come out. I told her that sometimes that happens to me (i thought of my very pregnant days) and I said leaning forward a little helps. Eventually, I had her lean forward towards me, with her head resting on my shoulder, and she was able to "go potty". If what I just wrote is upsetting, please feel free to delete it. I hope you all have fun at the show.

Karen, Just stopping by to say hello. We will be gone for a week on vacation so I will not be able to read Leahs update. I called Jacque and she said that Leah was doing Okay. I wish that I could be as inspiring as Leah is. If all of the world was like her we would have a better place to live. I always thought that she has been more wise than her years, you could tell from an early age. Julianne misses Leah and Kyle, I have explained to her what is going on with leah. She seems to understand but says that she wishes Leah was not sick anymore. I tell her that Leah is a very special person who is being watched over by God and all of the angels in the world, when I told her that she said that Leah must be lucky because God is the best. (it was really cute) Tell Leah that she is beautiful on the inside and out and that a medicine will never take that away. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Love you guys very much. Forever family P.S. We love constantine too, hope you get to meet him. From what I hear I think that you like him as much as Leah!!!!! Trina, Noah, Julianne and Drew.

Hi Karen! Your lil Leah certainly is a jewel! Just wanted to stop by and let you know the 4 of you are being lifted up in prayer~song!
