Hi to all of the James' family, I heard how great Leah is doing with her walker. I can't wait to see it. I understand it is all "dolled up" Have you gotten a bell for it yet? Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts every day. If you need a break please feel free to call and I can come over. Take care, Miss Uffie

Dear Leah and family,
I just want you all to know that I will be praying for you. Reading the journal was a very emotional thing for me. May the Lord continue to strengthen you daily as you walk through this trial.

Hi Karen,
I know you said that you have been having a hard time finding clothes for Leah. Ed's mom has been making very simple dresses for Emily for quite some time now and they are very cute. Let me talk to her and see if she can help you out. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you would like to do a play date with Leah and Emily, Emily misses her St. Mary's Friends (Leah and Katie).
God Bless you and your family.

Karen, I don't sign the guestbook very often because I usually feel very heavy hearted and worry I won't have the right words. Then I came across this quote: "The friend who holds your hand and says the wrong thing is made of dearer stuff than the one who stays away." -Barbara Kingsolver. Through Leah, I have come to learn about so so many brave and amazing kids that have taken the same journey. I have read each and every one of their journels. There's Maddie...I certainly didn't know her, but I am truly touched by her wisdom beyond her years! What an incredible child to have been blessed with such amazing insight. Rachael, forever 6 and WHAT A SMILE!!!! Truely breathtaking. Cheyenne and all of her reassuring ways of showing her family a little bit of heaven on earth. Those big brown eyes of Jakie Bear (Jake Griffin), he is simply beautiful!! saac...generous, considerate, gracious, funny, brave, loved. The free spirit of Marissa. Sweet Ryan, Julia, Corinna....the list is just TOOOOO LONG. Any list is too long - there SHOULDN'T BE a list! period. Each and every one of these children have been an inspiration to others. You, Leah and all of these kids have made such a lasting impact on my life. Thank you again for giving me the ability to enjoy every day.
I hope you have a wonderful time at American Idol and that Leah's heart is happy over and over again!! Go Constantine! :)

Hi there Karen and family. Just thinking about you and praying for a miracle. Your family updates sound like you have been able to have some nice times. I can't belive a year has gone by already too. Continue to have hope and know that you are doing a good job with what you can do. Grandma turned 90 and Gramps is doing better w/the stroke and all. The entire family is praying for you all. Oh, I am sure there are elevators at all the arenas for anyone to use, many folks can't climb stairs. That sounds fun. We love ya. Take care of yourself now that you are another year older-ha ha! xxoo Pam and Steve
