I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you. :)
I hope this week brings you some bright spots and big smiles, and laughs and giggles...even with tears.
Happiness and sadness isn't a contridiction. Sometimes we live it all at the same time.
Lots of Hugs,

Karen,
I never was priveledged enough to meet Leah, but I followed your journal. I would check it every day sometimes twice a day, still do. The thing that I remember most about Leah is "My heart's happy!". I could read your journal and close my eyes and see her there coloring and saying my heart's happy, with her beautiful blue eyes. I think of you all often. Every time my heart feels full with love and happiness I think of Leah and quietly smile and think, yes, my heart is happy today. You all are in my thoughts, heart and prayers.
Love

My favorite memory of Leah was right before she became ill and all the family was at the lake for July 4th celebrating. She was so cute and on the quiet side that day. I remember her coming and sitting between Tim and I. I think she had a thing for Tim as she would ocassionally look up at him with just a hint of a smile. I remember as we took the pontoon boat ride, Leah,Kylie and Julianne standing up front giggling and loving the breeze blowing through their hair.
It is a day I will not forget.
Take Care and think happy thoughts

Everytime I saw Leah I got a hug, but in a most special way. Everytime she would take one second and be shy cute little Leah and then she would come running and give me the biggest best hug ever. I loved that. God, how I miss her.

I will keep you all in my prayers. Sweet, young children who lose their life on this earth way too early are safe and sound in Heaven and feel no pain, of this I am sure. I pray for the parents and families who surely suffer an unimaginable pain every second of every day - I pray for a moment of peace for them from their pain. This was not a punishment of any sort but just one of those unexplained horrible things that happen, one of the worst. God Bless You and your family and know that many, many people are praying for your and yours.
