"Seeing death as the end of life is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean." ~David Searls. Leah is with us forever and ever Karen. I was logged on and it was just too quiet at home so I was thinking of you and came to Leah's website so I could listen to her beautiful song. I have it playing in the background and it's just so gorgeous. Just like her. The next time you feel the tears running down your face, and you're completely overwhelmed, try telling yourself this "Breathe in the light..blow out the darkness". I've read this on another website and I've heard several others say that as crazy as it sounds, it really does bring them comfort. Thinking of you always. Give a big hug to Kylie for me....prayers for peace and strength each and every day.

I went to the mall today and while looking up into the high ceilings at all the Christmas decorations, I started to think of Leah. Nothing in particular, just thought about the month ahead, and then what it would be like in January. I thik it might have been a moment or feeling sent my way telling me that you WILL be okay during this month and get through everything you need to with some peace leading into January. I'm so glad you found the Christmas bulb with Leah's voice msg. Having that, hearing her voice, having Kylie running into her room, changing her msg on her Christmas bulb, and running back into the family room to play it for you and Phil - is a new memory, maybe a new tradition...recording a message for Leah every year? I'm praying for you, praying for Kylie and Phil too. I can only imagine how difficult it is going to be this year for you, but you are stronger than ever and you have so much love and support from friends that we all want to help you with getting through the Holidays. We'll reach out to you during this time and help you through. And we'll pray for you and we'll pray to God and ask him to show you a sign, send you a message to give you some peace. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

What a treasured gift that Leah sent to Kylie! With the push of a button, the magical music of her beautiful voice. With the help of her two wonderful parents, Kylie will learn to live in this new world of hers. Hug her lots!! My prayers to Leah are for her to watch over Kylie, you and Phil and to continue sending you signs of her presence all around you. Remember, love never dies nor fades, love goes on forever and ever...prayers for peace and strength each and every day.

There are no words to magically console, No words to once again make your hearts whole. For the ache you feel there is no comparing, But know how much love you have for the sharing -- of your story of Leah, the grief you've been bearing. God bless and continue to give you and yours strength and comfort.

Hi Sweetie, I wish there was something I could say or do.... How bitter-sweet that you found Leah's ornament! You can be sure that her little fingers made sure that it went right to your hands...and that the battery was still working. Angels can do amazing things! Oh how I would have loved to hear Christophers voice... Thinking of you all...and extra chants going up for Kylie.

Karen, It was so nice of you to mention me in your update. I'm happy that I was able to do something meaningful. My offer still stands to do any other pictures (even if its years from now). I felt Leah's presence with me all the time I was working on her scrapbook. I am soooo very sad for all of you. Poor Kylie--she's a child & she has to deal with things that we adults are having difficulty with. It just doesn't seem fair. My heart is heavy with the grief & sadness that you will all feel during this holiday season. Again, I will say that Leah was very blessed to have been born into such a wonderful family. God bless!
