My deepest sympathy and love to your family. I read this poem today and wanted to share it with you. THE LITTLEST ANGEL I'm only a small child, not much do I know But God holds my hand as I look down below. I'm here with the Father in the most wonderful place Yet I can't feel much joy when I see your sad face. Your heart has been broken, I can see from up here as you struggle along and you wipe every tear. If only I had words I could send you today that ould tell you I'm home and really okay. Heaven is so beautiful with sparkles and white wings and the angels are teaching me so many things. I'll grow and mature in this Heavenly land while holding on tightly to the Father's soft hand. So don't grieve for me now but find peace in your soul, and know God as finally made your little one whole. And even if you can't seem to understand, "why", please know in your heart that our love didn't die. He tells me that just for a time we must wait and then I can meet you at Heaven's front gate! Karen, Phil, and Kylie -- While we can not pretend to know your pain and sorrow, our family grieves with you and you have our deepest heart-felt condolences. Yesterday's ceremony was beautiful and we were honored to be there. We know Leah was watching over all of you from Heaven. We also wanted to thank you for sharing your and Leah's journey with everyone. Your family became like a lighthouse to those parents/family/children that are dropped into the dark ocean of this horrible disease; as well as countless others who now have a better appreciation of life. Little Leah was the source of light and you all were the mirrors, making the light stronger and reflecting it out for all to see and follow. The light that Leah lit in so many people will only grow stronger through her spirit and continual thoughts of your family's grace, love, candor, humor and determination through this journey. Although Kate and I only met you and sweet Leah briefly, she touched our hearts deeply and will never be forgotten by our family.
